Dill Pickle Ranch Wings

Ingredients

For the wings

  • 2 lb chicken wings
  • 2 cups dill pickle juice
  • 1 tbsp neutral oil
  • 1 tbsp ranch seasoning mix
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp smoked paprika
  • Fresh dill, chopped

For the pickle ranch sauce

  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 1/4 cup sour cream
  • 2 tbsp dill pickle juice
  • 2 tbsp finely chopped dill pickles
  • 1 tbsp chopped fresh dill
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp onion powder
  • Black pepper
  • Salt

To cook

    Method

    For the wings

    1. Combine chicken wings and pickle juice in a sealed plastic bag and refrigerate for 2 to 4 hours.

      Then 120 min of waiting

    2. Drain the wings and pat them thoroughly dry with paper towels.

    3. Mix salt, black pepper, smoked paprika, garlic powder, and ranch seasoning together in a small bowl.

    4. Lightly coat the wings with neutral oil and sprinkle generously with the seasoning mixture on both sides.

    5. Thread the wings onto long skewers.

    For the pickle ranch sauce

    1. Mix mayonnaise, sour cream, chopped dill pickles, pickle juice, fresh dill, garlic powder, onion powder, black pepper, and salt in a bowl until smooth.

    To cook

    1. Preheat grill to medium heat.

    2. Place the winged skewers on the grill and cook for 20 to 25 minutes, turning regularly to brown evenly and render the fat.

    3. Remove wings from the grill, sprinkle with chopped fresh dill, and serve with the pickle ranch sauce on the side for dipping.
