Caramel Apple Monkey Bread

Ingredients

  • 2 cans biscuit dough, cut into pieces
  • 1 apple, diced
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup caramel sauce
  • 1/2 tsp salt

Method

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a bundt pan.

  2. In a large bowl, combine the biscuit pieces, diced apple, sugar, and ground cinnamon.

  3. Toss everything together using a spatula until the biscuit pieces and apples are evenly coated with the cinnamon-sugar mixture.

  4. Transfer the biscuit and apple mixture into the prepared bundt pan, spreading it out evenly.

  5. In a small saucepan over medium heat, melt the butter along with the brown sugar, caramel sauce, and salt.

  6. Stir the mixture continuously until melted, smooth, and fully combined, about 2–3 minutes.

  7. Pour the warm caramel mixture evenly over the biscuit and apple dough in the bundt pan.

  8. Bake in the preheated oven until golden brown and cooked through, about 35–40 minutes.

  9. Remove from the oven and invert the bundt pan onto a serving plate or wire rack to release the monkey bread while warm.
