Gas Station Buffalo Chicken Dip

Ingredients

  • 1 lb fried chicken tenders (about 4–6 pieces)
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 1/2 cup buffalo hot sauce, plus extra for drizzling
  • 2 tbsp buffalo wing seasoning, divided
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese, divided
  • 1 cup shredded pepper jack cheese, divided
  • 1/4 cup chopped green onions, divided
  • Ranch dressing, for serving

Method

  1. Preheat your smoker or oven to 375°F (190°C).

  2. Cut the fried chicken tenders into bite-sized chunks.

  3. In a large bowl, combine the cream cheese, sour cream, buffalo hot sauce, and 1 1/2 tablespoons of the wing seasoning until smooth.

  4. Fold in 1/2 cup of cheddar cheese, 1/2 cup of pepper jack cheese, half of the green onions, and all of the chopped chicken until evenly combined.

  5. Transfer the mixture to an 8x8-inch foil pan or baking dish and spread into an even layer.

  6. Top with the remaining cheddar cheese, pepper jack cheese, and the remaining 1/2 tablespoon of wing seasoning.

  7. Place on the smoker or in the oven and bake until hot, bubbly, and the cheese is completely melted.

  8. Drizzle with extra buffalo sauce, ranch dressing, and top with the remaining green onions before serving.
