Add the cashews, sugar, and cardamom pods to a grinding jar.
Grind them to a fine powder using the pulse mode.
Grind using pulse mode to prevent the cashews from releasing oil.
Add the milk powder, crumbled paneer, and milk cream to the grinding jar.
Blend everything until smooth and dough-like.
Remove 2 tablespoons of the dough into a bowl and set it aside for the filling.
Place the remaining dough in the refrigerator to firm up.

To the 2 tablespoons of dough set aside, add the desiccated coconut, rock sugar, chopped pistachios, and rose essence.
Mix everything well and shape into small, bite-sized balls for the center of the modaks.
Remove the dough from the refrigerator and grease a modak mold with a little oil or ghee.
Take a small portion of the outer dough, press it into the mold, and create a hollow space in the center.
Insert a rose filling ball into the hollow space.
Seal the bottom with a little more dough and press firmly.
Open the mold gently and remove the shaped modak.
Repeat the shaping process for the remaining dough and filling.
Garnish with desiccated coconut, pistachios, rose petals, or saffron strands before serving.
