Ingredients

  • 1 lb carne asada steak, cooked
  • 1/2 cup guacamole
  • 1/4 cup sour cream
  • 1 cup french fries, cooked and crispy
  • 1/2 cup Monterey Jack cheese, shredded
  • 2 large flour tortillas

Method

  1. Chop the cooked carne asada steak into small, bite-sized pieces.

  2. Lay out a flour tortilla on a flat surface and spread half of the guacamole over the lower third.

  3. Layer half of the sour cream over the guacamole.

  4. Add half of the crispy french fries on top of the sour cream layer.

  5. Top the fries with half of the chopped carne asada steak.

  6. Add half of the shredded Monterey Jack cheese over the steak.

  7. Fold in the left and right sides of the tortilla over the filling.

  8. Roll the tortilla tightly from the bottom up to form a secure burrito.

  9. Repeat steps 2 through 8 to assemble the second burrito.

  10. Place the burritos seam-side down on a hot griddle or skillet over medium heat.

  11. Toast the burritos, turning occasionally, until the tortilla is golden brown and the cheese inside is melted, 3–5 minutes.

  12. Slice each burrito in half and serve immediately with salsa.
