10-Minute Green Onion Oil Noodles

Ingredients

  • 5 green onions, thinly sliced
  • 7 oz (200 g) Taiwanese knife-cut noodles (or spaghetti)
  • 4 tbsp neutral oil
  • 2 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp oyster sauce
  • 1 tsp dark soy sauce
  • 1/2 tbsp sugar
  • Handful cilantro, roughly chopped

Method

  1. Thinly slice the green onions and roughly chop the cilantro.

  2. Heat 4 tbsp of neutral oil in a wok or pan with the green onions over medium-high heat.

  3. Saute the green onions until fragrant and infused into the oil, 3 to 4 minutes.

  4. Add the cooked noodles to the pan.

  5. Add the soy sauce, oyster sauce, dark soy sauce, and sugar to the pan.

  6. Stir-fry for about 1 minute, until the noodles are thoroughly coated with the sauce and oil.

  7. Transfer to a serving plate.

  8. Garnish with additional green onions and chopped cilantro before serving.
